We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people who use a keyboard or a screen reader.
What we do
- Every control is a real button, link or input with a label.
- Touch targets are at least 44 pixels, and keyboard focus is always visible.
- Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- Animations are small and respect the "reduce motion" setting.
- There is a skip link, and every page can be used with the keyboard alone.
A note about styled Unicode text
The "fonts" this site generates are made of special Unicode characters. Screen readers often read them out character by character, or skip them, so they can be hard or impossible to understand. Please keep anything important (your real name, links, key information) in plain text. We never use styled Unicode for the site's own labels.
